Katarina Moulinet

Angels Project Director

Katarina was born in Slovakia where she completed nursing school and graduated in pharmacy from Comenius University in Bratislava. After two years in New York to improve her language skills, she moved to the Czech Republic where she gained experience in public health pharmacy, establishing educational campaigns for patients with cardiovascular and diabetic treatment.

Passionate about science, she joined IQVIA as a clinical research associate managing the progress of assigned studies in cardiology, diabetology and rheumatology, before being promoted to Prime Site Alliance Manager at St. Anne’s University Hospital and International Clinical Research centre in Brno, Czech Republic. Her responsbilities included developing and securing site partnerships, ensuring the right sites were selected for right studies, optimising project delivery and initiating process improvement, and creating an educational platform.

Her mission to bring more and better treatment to patients continues with the Angels Initiative. Formerly an Angels team leader with responsibility for Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, and Ukraine, she has been welcomed back to the project to help ensure effective delivery of the objectives and to provide leadership and role modelling to the team of Angel consultants in Europe.

Katarina says, “I strongly believe that by optimising the stroke patient pathway we can give life a chance. Stroke doesn’t wait, we should not either.”

Katarina lives in the UK with her husband, two daughters and son.
